the chair cover,..part #2

i started off by pinning the fabric around the shape of the chair. i am a non-sewer,...so figured that a lateral approach would work best for me.

then got the good old sewing machine out and stitched the hems,...(i still have to hem the bottom).

finally i added a cushion made from a hessian sack and some contrasting red and white striped cotton.

the end result is a little bit country,......and very rustic!  but i love the colours,.....and i think, for a first attempt,...it turned out ok!
