project of the day,...re-covering wing chair,..

so,..i have this lovely old wing chair in our bedroom,...  the shape of it is gorgeous,..but the colours are a little garish! 

i found some perfect 'hessian' coloured fabric at a yard sale yesterday for 50cents!!! and today i am going to attempt to re-cover the chair!  


in the meantime, look at the gorgeous little vintage pincushion i found hiding in the drawer of a cabinet i bought yesterday!

looks gorgeous resting up against this rustic old boat,....
