pierre frey - nomade

colour,...texture,.. an air of cultured bohemia.

a couple of images from french designer, pierre frey's new range 'nomad'.

In the freshness of dawn, on the crest of a DUNE against the sunlight, a CARAVANE appears led by TOUAREGS. It slowly stretches out and follows its path for hours on end before reaching the BERBER encampment. Further to the South, in the KALAHARI desert, the bushmen move around according to the rain to feed on fruit, roots and wild game.

Another continent, same ancestral practices: the nomads of Mongolia or Uzbekistan guide their herds of yaks, horses and sheep over the vast steppes of Central Asia before reaching TACHKENT. The trading caravanes cross countries and transport Men and goods to the four corners of Asia: MARMARA, PATIALA, KHIVA and IZMIR.

rich colours,..ethnic motifs,...textures,..stripes,...the essence of the nomadic peoples around the world.

what's not to love?
