bespoke, vintage twist on a cottage garden.

the last couple of events i have done have used succulents, flowers or herbs 'planted' in vintage tins as event decor.

i love this concept and think that it would work perfectly on the silvery wooden deck i am planning on constructing outside 'carrie'.

something like this.

imagine a mixture of agaves, herbs, violets, daffodils and daisies.  all in colourful, vintage tins.

they would contrast beautifully with the black exterior of 'carrie' and add a whimsical, vintage touch.

(would also be perfect for growing herbs at a cafe.  or in an apartment.)

lovin'

  3. Even good old tinned tomato tins make great planters. I gave my mum one planted with daffodils for mothers day. the yellow of the daffs worked beautifully with the metal of the tin.
