vintage asian treasures,....

today i was lucky enough to have picked up two of the most beautiful asian treasures,..


the first being an antique, chinese 'games' table....

the aged, slightly blackened wood is beautiful,..and the carved, chinese characters are very quaint.

it will make a lovely little side table,....

when the kids get tired of playing chinese checkers on it!!!

the other treasure i discovered was an antique rice steamer....

the carved detail is intricate and delicate,...and the style and colours are rich and opulent....

it will make the perfect vessel to store all my sewing bits and pieces...


very excited about my 'finds' today!
